I've had an intermittent cut out problem for a while and finally decided to ask for comments. Every once in a while, maybe 1 out of 10 times when I go from forward to reverse on my BX24 the tractor dies for a split second and comes right back. It's not just a cold weather problem as it was doing it this past summer too. It is only when I change direction into reverse never from reverse to forward. Any ideas?

Is it possible your body is rocking a bit forward, lifting the seat back ever so slightly? The seat switch was really touchy on mine before I made an alteration. I stuck on a thin adhesive backed pad where the switch touched.

I had a similar problem with my BX-25. I took the tractor to my dealer. A mechanic got up on the trailer and adjusted one of the safety switches with a screw driver. I didn't even have to take the tractor off the trailer. It took him about 5-minutes and there was no charge to me. You got to like the dealer down there in Franklin.
