I would guess that it had "sweeps" on it which went from the now missing loader mounts up the the FOPS to push branches out of the way in the woods. That way the exhaust was up and out of the way, but was protected from branches.

Looks like he wanted a skidder not a tractor or he forgot the exhaust was higher than the ROPS and drove into the garage with it. It is at Ginop Sales not too far south from me.
