I am confused why someone who has a $7k deductible on their home even wants to insure a $7k tractor? For what? Like theft?
What about anything else they have of value? UTV? ATV? Mowers? Guns? Jewelry? Etc?
I wouldnt even think about insuring a $7k tractor for $500/yr with a $500 deductible. Just dont make sense.
My tractor is added to my business general liability policy as is my mini-ex. Both have a stated value of $25k.
So $50k of equipment, plus a $2m/$4m liability policy with $200 deductible is only $1100/yr.
When it was just the tractor insured on a landscaper policy (no digging)....I was only at $600/yr for a $25k machine and the same $2m/$4m liability. Seems he is paying alot for very little coverage
