Has anyone installed a PB on a 955? It looks like it is quite a job.
Thanks...
Tony

I can't speak to installing the PB on a 955; but I did install a PB along with the 3rd, 4th, 5th SCV kits on my 4200.

Just take your time, get plenty of crowfoot wrenches for the fittings and torque them to specification.

Also, if you don't have a 3rd SCV kit installed; but you do have a loader, take a look and see if the loader SCV has a third spool. If so the the third SCV kit will use that spool.

In my case I installed the PB and 3rd SCV at the same time since the PB tied into the loader's PB port as I recall.

Sorry I missed your first post Tony:eek:

I looked in JDParts and could not even find the PB kit! I hope it goes well for you...

I have done 3 955s. It is totally different from the 4200/4300/4400. The
only part I bought was the hex plug (#15 in your dwg). I prefer hoses
to the hard lines. The hardest part of the install is the fact that you have
to remove so much stuff (fender, seat support, controls, etc.).

There are some postings on TBN about this.....do a search.

That's the same operational concept as my 4200's PB kit; but simpler. I like the hard lines as they take up less space compared to hoses. I doubt it will take you long to install the kit, especially if you don't have to remove a wheel and a fender.
