Installing Duals

Just bought a Mahindra 5500 4WD with loader and rears are not loaded. The tread is about 50% worn from driving on pavement. Size is 14.9 x 28.

What is involved and what would the estimated cost be to buy a set of tires and rim using the old tires as outside in a dual rear setup?

Just curious if anyone has done this? The farmer that plants my place uses duals for traction and less compaction and does not load his tires.

You would need band type rims for the duals and eyelets on the existing rim mounts. Not sure what this would cost though. We always had fluid in the mains and ran duals for extra flotation doing field work.
