I recently bought a new Farmtrac 435. It has 5 hours operating time on it. When it is first started cold you can hear a low whine noise from the injecter pump. The noise stops after the tractor warms. Is this normal or should I be concerned?

How cold is it where you are located??
Do not know for sure but, it`s possibly due to the diesel and injector pump being very cold thus diesel being somewhat more dense. If this is the case the noise stops after reaching near or at operateing temp. Some hydraulic pumps do the same when very cold.

Our temperature has been averaging between 40 and 50 degrees.

Just a hunch, but try keeping the glow plugs on for a longer period before you start up, say 20 seconds or so. See if the noise is still there.
I've seen those models, but don't know them or whether that's normal for them, but I doubt it's a problem.
Let us know if that changes things any.
