I'm in the "leave 'em out in the yard to fend for themselves" camp. Rubber, plastic, etc parts get covered in the 100° summers though. Paint fading and rain are of no concern to me. I do put them on junk plywood to make sliding them into position when hooking up easier. When the backhoe's off it gets covered with a tarp ... but I have no logical reason for doing so. Baby usually stays under some cover when not in use.

Just to share some info on this, I built 4 storage pallets on wheels for my attachments...I roll the pallet out from under one of the shelves in my shed, drop the attachment on it and then just roll it back under the shed shelf. Each pallet fits the attachement and it only took a few hours to build all 4. The only thing I had to do in the shed was to adapt my shelves and hang the support for them from the ceiling instead of the floor to be able to slide the pallets underneath. I kept wondering what to do since my shed is not too big(12x16) and I didn't feel like adding on or building shelves that I may break with the hydraulics. I used some 2x4s, wheels, and old plywood. Got one for the plow, bucket, hoe, and forks (mower is already on wheels) This works really good for me so far. Good luck.

That's one of the reasons that I built the 30 x 38 Morton Building.

If you don't mind my asking, what was the cost on something like this?

Sincerely,

Very nice. Would you care to tell us about what this cost. I am seriously considering a building about that size.

This shot is from the lower half of a two story shed I put up last year. The lower half is used for my 425 and storage of 12 attachments. The upper half is my wifes potting area.
