I have Pats quick hitch on one of my tractors and am very pleased ... I am now ready to do something for my second tractor ... I am researching the iMatch ... let me hear your thoughts.

I have the iMatch, and don't think staying on the tractor when dropping or hooking up attachments can be beat.

Most of my switch's are dropping off the ballast box, for a trip to the woods to pull logs (use the top hook with tongs) or to hook to the forks for lifting pallets of firewood. During the winter that is quick and easy.

I've nothing against the Pats system, but it would be going only half way, IMO.

Never used Pats so I can't commit.

At first I resisted spending $300 for the iMatch, now it would be the first thing I would buy for a tractor. After fighting to get the rotary cutter hooked up on uneven ground and the b-box hooked up when it was 20 degrees I decided $300 wasn't that bad. Couldn't live without it now. At most ten seconds to hook and unhook an attachment, all from the seat. The only thing that might be better is the auto-hitch if you have many pto attachments to use.

I would have an automatch if I could afford it. I would have to paint it orange tho:D.. but I have a Carter. I didnt want to buy another PTO shaft. the Carters does not extend your length. It does make the arms higher, but that has not been a problem for me. Works pretty good, saves on the swear words, and the back and feet from kicking the He** out of implements. Best $89 I ever spent.

I dont have just one imatch, but 3. :D they are definatly worth every penny. I got one for myself, one for my grandpa, and one for my dad. The possibilities are endless on what you can do with an imatch. try one out for size.

I Match works great. You do need to spend the time to make all your implements fit but once done it is the cat's meow.

I would choose the HF quick hitch before the JD $75 (on sale) vs $300 for the JD. The HF will give you an adjustable hook if you need it and a flip over adapter if the hook won't fit on an attachment. Add in $6-7 for a spray can of green paint to match your tractor. IMHO, the JD quick hitch is over priced. I have 2 HF quick hitches and no problems.

I recently purchased the Imatch for my Kubota B2910. So far I have used it only with a Wallenstein BXM32 chipper/shredder, but plan to use it with Woods rake and rear blade. Works like a champ. Probably is a bit overpriced, as someone else said, but it's built like a tank, works well, does what it's supposed to. (Still getting used to the orange and green color contrast, though ;))

any quick hitch will be more convenient IF all of your implements fit. otherwise, Pat's works well. I've done both. Using Pat's at the moment because not all of my implements fit the quick hitch.
