IH 274 Steering gear problems

Parts no longer available. Tractor made in Japan between 1979-82 by Komatsu/Kimco for IH. Have heard that steering gear box on small Japanese truck may fit this tractor. Any suggestions/info would be appreciated.

Like Soundguy said , check the salvage yards. WKTP.com is another one. They might be able to tell you of a different brand tractor that uses the same gear box.
