MITSUBISHI D1600 FD
Mitsubishi D1600 FD Grey Market Tractor, Ignition switch, replaced a couple and they last about 1 year then become inoperative. Does anyone have an answer to this problem ?

Many switches are exposed to water and sun.
That being said the lubricants inside get kinda fried, stiff and prevent good contacts.
Having dissected a few I noted the causes.
My cure has been to squirt some WD40 into the key slot which in most cases cured the problem.
Try it it casts peanuts!
Good luck.
I suggest WD40 as it is non corrosive.
