A paper towel or toilet paper pad with electrical tape is way better than a bandaid. I can keep an electrical tape bandage on my finger all through multiple hand washes where a bandaid falls off in an hour or less.
Yep. I think she did the right thing. I prefer electrical because of the stretch.
Digressing a bit but if you put on a bandaid and attach adhesive to adhesive you can pinch it up tight and it stays on a long time as opposed to the usual overlap, the tail/flap can be cut off.
It was a Dr who showed me that trick, good on fingers, he also showed me how to remove a fishing fly from my ear using a loop of string but as my casting has improved I have long forgotten that one.
