idle speed

I have a 147 and slow idle is around 1200-1300 rpm per tach on the dash. Shop manual states it should be 900-1000. Where are you guys at on this?

I have a ym1700, and 800 to 1000 'feels and sounds' about right for low idle. And about 1200-1300 for fast idle, and from between 1500-2300 for work, etc.

At 800 - 1000 it runs well.. doesn't sound like it is fighting to stay running.
