I don't know what the exact definition is but I don't consider it idiocy, he pushed a machine to it's limits and it rolled over.

I like to push the limits of machines, I like to watch other people push the limits of machines. I don't consider race car drivers, motorcycle racers, or speed boat drivers idiots. Have you ever watched the Isle of man motorcycle race or a Rally Car event? If the measure of idiocy is based on the degree of danger to life and equipment, then a slow roll on a grassy embankment makes this guy a genius compared to other risky activities.

Watch this video, is this guy an idiot or extremely talented?
I'm sure many of us, myself included would lean towards idiot if he layed that beautiful machine over, but he didn't...

You yourself said they were drunk. Know any racing drivers that hit the track drunk? I track my car and drive 24 hour endurance races with a team. We certainly do find the limits of the vehicles and tracks we drive. But we do it with a few thousand dollars worth of safety equipment, a specific testing regimen, and SOBER.

That's true, that's why I said I blame the alcohol.
I guess I'm trying to say, OK they were idiots for operating dangerous machinery drunk, not for trying a dangerous stunt.

I do believe they were drunk, if the driver was not drunk I would think he was pretty stupid for not seeing he was right at the threshold of going over, and just kept pushing it.
