I have a Mahindra 485DI that has 30 pounds of oil pressure according to my gauge. Is this the correct pressure or is the oil pressure weak?

30 psi at idle with a hot engine and 10w40 oil would be excellent. I don't know, but would guess that the minimum spec is down around 10 psi hot idling. What oil are you using and what is the pressure when hot? What is the pressure when hot at PTO speed ?

30 PSI at idle sounds good to me. Most low preasure warning systems are between 5-10 PSI and you are well above that.
