I use syn or syn blend in all my engines except my 1996 Cadillac Northstar It drinks syn, I get 2000 miles per quart on Dino, but only about 300 miles on syn. those engines were built with a rough bore due to their racing origin so the cyl walls carry oil by design. All other engines, particularly modern engines are suited for syn.

All this oil talk made me want to change something. I changed to synthetic in my standby generator.
