I learned something about women today

So what I learned is that women accompish very little because they take 45 minutes to do a 15 minute task, they spend over twice as much money to do it slower, and they focus on the wrong things when they discuss things while trying to while away the time that they are wasting.

As for fighting over who cuts my hair, only use one gal. the others know to not ask.

As for the place my wife goes, the stylist is a family friend and gets 45$ every 3rd month for cut and color, and 15$ each and every other month of the year for cut. I can usually count on 4 hours of time, since the shop is also near some shopping so the wife does that while out............and NO not complaining at all.

You mean they talk about you while they work, oh man that would stink. My wifes shop has magazines too, all girly ones. I used to enjoy going to just see the cute sylists there. Now that I am old it does not make any difference.

i go to the local barber in town. it is a no nonsense place my wife and kids (when they are home) complain that it is not a good hair cut, my theory is it is cut period. and the only difference between a good hair cut and a bad haircut is $10 and about 2 weeks(thenu can;t tell the difference anyhow /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Even when I knew barbers that I liked, I always hated having to go to the barber shop. Might or might not have to sit and wait, but was going to have to drive there and back, possibly wait awhile, and of course, spend a few bucks, so a few years ago when we were living 24 miles from the nearest barber shop, my wife bought some Wahl clippers and I haven't been to a barber shop since. I think those nose rings (and lip rings) are totally cool, especially with the multi colored hair that refuses to lay next to the scalp. NOPE, just 7 different colors of hair. I actually sat there smiling wondering if her dad had a youthful dalliance with a <font color="red">p </font> <font color="green">a </font> <font color="blue">r </font> <font color="purple">r </font> <font color="orange">o </font> <font color="brown">t </font> .

I father in law has always told me, "the differene between a good hair cut and a bad hair cut is three days" Not sure I totally understand it.

I'm not sure it's dissin women so much as dissin hair salons as differing from barbers. Fact is, much as they complain, they like their SOs to have nice looking hair.

I think Bob just had a out-of-comfort zone experience. Notice he never said it was a poor haircut or that he didn't like the shampoo or head massage, just that it took longer.

Hope you don't feel too bad about the chatter. Certainly none of it is meant in seriousness. You should look back at some of the "How great is my SO" or "My SO's better than yours" type discussions that have gone on in the past.
