I just bought an Echo 2511t clone for $99. What was I thinking?

Don't you need 44 drive links, not 45? These look like semi-chisel.

bar stamped 45. Just went to Echo site for the 2511T. list 91PXL45CQ for 12" bar. Oregon chain finder shows 45 DL also for Echo. Amazon list chain as full chisel but maybe semi-chisel. Either wouls be ok with me as long as they do ok. For 21.50 for 3 not going to complain

Just went and looked at my Echo 2620 pole saw. 12" bar also but it takes a 44DL chain instead of a 45 like the 2511. 1 link difference, not sure reasoning on that

Echo 2511PN OEM. Egan pipe was way ahead of rest. PSS V2 was next and reminded me of the egan in acting and sound etc. WSC was last on the OEM. Only one it would have beat was the stuffed up OEM stock muffler.

So on clone farmertec 2511 I only tested the open clone muffler with small pipe and compared to egan pipe to see.
Egan on clone was 2.3sec per cut faster the the open clone muffler with smaller pipe.

I'll prob put the Egan back on OEM.

Put the PSS V2 on the Farmertec clone and test it out.
Should beat the clone open muffler being it is 6.4mm bigger outlet then clone open muffler.

Box looks familiar but my chain was not wrapped in any plastic of any kind. got me questioning if my chain is 44 or 45

The Joncutter G2511 I bought from Az came with that same box and says the same thing on the plastic bag. The technical data in the owner's manual does not list the number of drive links. The bar is printed HYA-45-509P.

Couldn't stand it anymore. Went and pulled chain off and counted drive links. 44, bar stamped 45. Now what? Maybe I should send chains with 45 back and get 44. This very confusing with bar stamped with a 45 on it but knew my 12" pole saw uses a 44. Maybe some of you saw guys can wade in here and give expert advise.

This thread got me to go to Amazon, I found a 1222cc G888 Gasoline Chain Saw Power Head Sprocket Nose 7 tooth 404'' Pitch Compatible With MS880 088 Chainsaw for $607!!
Do you think the 1222cc is a typo?
