Again, the masks are to help prevent YOU from spreading droplets, not to protect you FROM droplets.

True, but judging with my own eyes the way I see masks worn, they are not protecting from spreading droplets to others. If theres gaps around the nose and mouth, droplets escape into the air others are breathing. Then theres the lack of quality in the masks themselves and watching people touch their masks then exhale the germs into other peoples air.

As a police officer many, many years ago, I could tell you many, many stories about the news media and errors made, prejudices of some news men, some sad errors, some hilarious ones; some unintentional, some deliberate. And as with any group, there are some very good people in the business and some very bad.

It's all about the sensationalism. Nothing about the facts.

They should be made to do the same amount of retractions on a story they got wrong for the same amount of time that they ran with the story originally during prime time.

If they have to stand there telling people publicly that they were idiots and had the facts completely wrong enough times. Just maybe the integrity of the reporting will improve and they won't jump the gun.

Getting advice on mask wearing from folks who don't think they're effective and won't wear them ...

Let's say the death numbers ar exaggerated by 50%. So if only 175,000 people have actually died form C-19 what are the rest of us worried about?

We're all going to die someday anyway.

If we don't trust the news, how do we know three's even a pandemic? Oh they lied once, so all news is fake news?

btw, we know that hospitals are owned by China and they're in cahoots to bankrupt the American economy. I heard it on the news.

And don't worry about Bill Gates injecting you with a micro-chip. Steve Jobs sold you one ten years ago and it's your constant companion.

Now if I can just decide whether to wear my painting, mining, or radioactive mask instead of one I just can't spit through.

I for one would be worried about inaccuracies that substantial. If we are overstating Covid fatality by 50-100%, what else is being overstated? Control by other, unfriendly governments? Election results? Border security? Military strength?

Agree. The rush to judgement has proven the main stream media wrong so many times, we have lost count of the gross inaccuracies. The inaccuracies cost lives and reputations, elections, bankruptcies. Never any accountability. They just repeat their same garbage over and over.

The world health organization, CDC, and many of these DR's have been told what they can and can't say.

Is the virus real ? Sure it is. I've had it and still have some effects of it three weeks later.

Problem is, doctors break rules. Administration runs the hospital, not the doctors, and if they instruct doctors to pump up the Covid death numbers for the cash, the Covid numbers become inaccurate.
IMO, the Covid death rates would be much more believable and accurate if there was no money paid for Covid deaths.

I saw something funny the other day.
I stopped at a traffic light (it was red) Guy pulls up next to me wearing mask, and rubber gloves. He's the only one in the vehicle.
A few min, he pulls down the mask reaches in his pocket of smokes, and lights one up.

He isn't worried about filling is lungs with all those toxins. But he doesn't want to catch covid:laughing:

It's not just about the covid deaths. Medicare will pay for 21 days of isolation for a covid patient. Even when the patient is Asymptomatic. The rest of us are told we can go back to work after 10 days if we are Asymptomatic.

Extra money is paid for cleaning, and a bunch of other things related to the virus.

If you have friends or family that work in nursing homes, they can pretty much verify that the numbers are skewed.

Doctors can diagnose by just using symptoms. If a few symptoms fall in line with covid, then it's covid. Doesnt matter if the patient then tests negative and you have steady negative test results for the patient and care givers right up to the time the patient was admitted to the hospital.

Doctors can diagnose by just using symptoms. If a few symptoms fall in line with covid, then it's covid. Doesnt matter if the patient then tests negative and you have steady negative test results for the patient and care givers right up to the time the patient was admitted to the hospital.

It kind of adds to the suspicious nature of the number of false negatives. I have 2 people close to me on the front lines. They tell me anyone who presents with Covid like symptoms and gets negative test is tested again and again, and as you stated, treated as if Covid.

That may well be skewed by the political inclinations of those doing the (supposed) "verifying".

Recently caught some reporting by a hospital official - in Houston I think it was - that roughly 50% of his staff there were disinclined to avail themselves of a vaccine when it becomes available ... due to political considerations apparently.

So it wouldn't be terribly surprising that some reports of "skewing" might themselves be skewed.
