Check out these folks: Kaufman Trailers | Equipment, Gooseneck, Car, Dump Trailers

I do not work there and I am not affiliated with them. I have bought a utility trailer direct from them. They are easy to work with.
I have looked at them.

Their prices have went up $1100 in the last ~6-8 months. And its still a 6 month wait. I am willing to make some compromises if I find a good used trailer local.......BUT if I order a new one I want exactly what I want. And Kauffman doesnt offer stow-away ramps as an option.

On top of all that....add in either a two day round trip and a hotel stay....or pay freight to get it up here....kauffman just isnt a viable option for me.

That a really interesting design, especially with the truss spanning the length of the C-channel under the frame.

I’m impressed with the build of the trailer. The truss design, the extra plating where the deck ends, stock 14 ply tires, and a very heavy duty hitch. They really should have put 8k axels vs 7s.

Anyone know if the Michigan Trailer Sales will do a monster ramp and red color? They have no email and dont return calls
I like the looks of the 20k unit and the price is probably worth the agonizing 2 days of life I won’t get back hauling it 1500 miles

I just re-decked my 2014 Load Trail 24' gooseneck and put it on Craigslist in Clarksville one night before bed. Had a response next morning and he came and paid me close to $2k more than it cost me new 7 years ago.

A metal roofing mfg. company near me says that the steel coils they buy will now change price while they are enroute to their KY location- that's after they've been shipped! and prior to unloading. Plus they cannot get people to work in the factory for the wages they paid pre-pandemic a common theme in the US now.
Quite a few years ago I was building a bed in my woodshop and called around to price steel bed rails-WOW! was I surprised. This was back when the Chinese first began to buy up the US steel and old cars had become valuable and lots of them being squashed at US salvage yards across the country.
Even in the 1980's it was cheaper for me to buy a trailer from a source such as the above mentioned trailer mfg than to build one with free labor, welding rods, electricity, ect., in the tech school where I worked with me buying the steel, axles and wheels, so on.
Vehicle mfg.'s are said to have stopped stockpiling cars & trucks waiting on chips as too far ahead.
