I Finally did it!!!

I finally did it last night. I just bought my b7500 with a GB2200 loader and a 4ft landpride box scaper. But I won't get it until Wednesday.. I can't wait it has been a long 8mnths. looking and spending LOTS of time on here. (just ask my wife) Thanks for all of your help. I do have 1 more does anyone have a Great Bend loader on there 7500 and how do you like it? My dealer likes them very much they have quite a bit more lifting power. Anyway I need to go do something to get my mind of off my new tractor. Thanks again for all of your input.

Congratulations, The B7500 is a nice tractor. The 48" scraper covers your wheelbase with the tires set in, nice choice. I don't know anything about the GB loader.

hey darins,
how much did you pay for the gb loader for your b7500. i never even thought about getting a diff loader for when i get my b7500 hopefully by the spring. how much will it pickup compared to the kubota la272 and the la302? i always like to save money if the quality is good.

Hi Rich, The Gb. loader can lift over 800lbs. The la302 is around 770 or so and the La 272 is less then that? I have not seen these before either, but my dealer says he really likes them and thinks that they are a stronger loader then the La's. I guess I will take his word on that. I do like that you can move the controlls around to get closer to you or wherever it the most comfortable. He didn't give me a price difference on these but the deal I got was $12.800.00 for the tractor and loader (w/ hydro). I think I got a pretty good deal to. I did get the box scapper and with tax it was up to $14.200.00 Only 2 more days!!! Darin

Sounds like you got an excellent deal! Is that for the DT or the HST version of the B7500. I think retail on the HST is over $11K all by itself.

I'd never heard of the GB loader. Does it do quick attach/detach too? My dealer told me that the LA302 was about the best deal for the FEL, so I took his word for it. He steered me toward the Woods box scraper (which I like a lot). As for a backhoe (if you're thinking that way/w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif), he just happened to see the new Woods backhoe for the B7500 and says that it looks much better than the one that Kubota sells for that tractor.

Great Bend (GB) is actually now owned by Bush Hog (same plant, different names). Bush Hog is in the process of building a new plant in Tennessee which will shut down the Great Bend plant but they will still carry different names.

Boy I had fun on Wednesday. Once I got my boys of the tractor. They all had to take a Long turn around the yard and try the loader. My oldest 10 did a really good job with that too. Then it was dads turn. I did some leveling with my new box scaper, I moved quite a bit a dirt and got it all ready for the new walkways. But quess what? It rainned all day so now I have lots of mud. But its suppose to be nice all weekend so it will dry up. By the way I do really like the GB loader . Can't wait until tomorrow. Darin
