Last week I went down to my towns Old Home Days celebration and ran My tractor in the parade as the newest tractor in town. I thought you guys would like to see some of the competition for the oldest.

2 Nice looking John Deeres, an MT with wide front, a very late B and a Ford 9N or maybe it is a 2N between.

The B is 1940. I don't know the years on the others. 2N is correct.

Does the B have a 6 speed with one shifter or 3 speeds with a high/low lever?

I didn't notice that one way or the other. The woman driveing it is the daughter of the farmer that bought it new. That's how she knew the year.

yep.. I see oval radius rods.. and what an um.. interesting paint job.

I see it has the 'loudmuffler' option installed too.

Yep the color debate goes way ,...way,... back and at some point the original owner on a lark pained it Green to see if the green paint actually made it go any faster. It's still running so it didn't do any harm.
