I thought when I first committed to the B2872 w/hyd rotator and elec chute deflector that it was over kill. We had a reasonably substantial snow last night (12") and I put it to its first real test. Was able to completely clear my driveway, barn area, parking areas, etc. in about 90 minutes. It used to take me 5-6 hours with the FEL and back blade, mostly because of the amount of time it would take me to find someplace to put the dang snow after I scooped it. I can't imagine not having the blower now.

Thanks to everyone on this great forum for all of my ignorant questions when I was in the buying stage.

No such thing as ignorant questions.....

Sometimes you get ignorant answers though.;)

Pictures are next. Next storm due to arrive tomorrow morning.

No cab for me. I really do enjoy being out in the air. And, I'm usually plowing/blowing in major snowstorms. Doesn't the snow stick/make it hard to see out the back window for the back blade work? I'm a bit claustrophobic so I think I'll stick with the wide open spaces.

Great pair of skiing pants, coat, goggles, gloves, Sorrels. What else could a man ask for!

Good deal...... glad you are happy. I second (or was that third?) the request for pics.

I've been using mine the past couple days also. First time ever breaking a shear bolt........ actually broke three in one day. Odd since i never lost a single one all last winter. Good thing i had plenty of spares.

We've had about 18" of snow so far this week and are expecting another foot by tomorrow night. Maybe another 18". Man, am I glad I got this blower! I've gone thru 7 shear pins this week already. Mostly ice chunks, one piece of wood. They did exactly what they are supposed to do. No damage to the blower at all.

Naaa. It was perfect out. I'm sure if I had a cab I'd like it, but only for when the ROPS hits a limb and I get avalanched on. I love being outside. That's why I live in Colorado. Skiing tomorrow on 4 feet of new powder at the ski resort (Purgatory), 20 minutes from my house.

So, we received about 11" of snow during the day today and now they are calling for another 2 feet by tomorrow evening.

EPIC

Blower is good but it has greatly reduced your seat time so that's bad! :D

Now you need to get wired up with a good ipod and headphones and listen to a little BTO!!!;)

You got it. I got a great set of ear buds for my Droid, put it on shuffle, and away we go. Beats earplugs.
