Tractor
New holland tc45da w/cab
Well I got my first tractor the other day. I was looking for a new 45hp tractor but I ran into a deal on a smaller used one that I couldn't pass up. I got a 1994 kubota L2650dt with an 8x8 shuttle trans, woods loader, woods 60" finish deck and filled tires. The tractor has 185 original hours on it and was always stored indoors. The paint is perfect, it's not even worn on the floor board dimples and pedals! The tractor looks a little dirty in the pictures from the ride home (open trailer + dirt roads = dirty tractor) but it shined like new when we loaded it. The best part was the price. I got it from the original owner for $5,500 dollars. I'd really like a larger hydro drive tractor but I figured I have a pretty good chance of selling this one and turning a decent profit. Here's a couple pics

VERY VERY NICE. you will have to be careful with that exhaust, so you don't snag it and also you might be getting a face full of exhaust.

Congratulations on your "new" tractor and nice pictures :D! I think you made a "great score". The tractor looks in great shape. You may find that this tractor will meet your needs and with the money you saved you can buy a lot of "needed" attachments . Use your new tractor safely and well- Jay :)

Other than attaching a smaller image, I really don't know. That's why I use Photobucket
and upload my pictures there. That way I can automatically make a thumbnail with link to full size image, like this:

I found out about the deal by word of mouth via family. I live about an hour north of detroit and the tractor was down in dayton ohio so we had a 4 hour trip to go get it. The mower did come with it. I got it for $5500 because thats what the local kubota dealer offered the previous owner for it. I've seen what people on tractor house are asking for the same tractor with much higher hours and there is no doubt in my mind that the local dealer was going to try and double their money, or atlest get close to doing so. I'd keep the tractor for use around my house (6.6 acres with a horse) but I build motocross tracks and I'd like a larger hydro tractor for that. We've got skid loaders for heavy work and rent dozers for even bigger work but I'd like a tractor that has a lot of fel potential as well as more pto hp for running other equipment needed for track maint. It's much faster/ easier using a hydro drive tractor vs the gear models when your working on tall and steep jumps.
Here some pics of the type of work I do. I'm going to put this tractor up for sale and use it around the house until it sells.

Those floors are the work of my brother. Every year he does a crazy floor for an annual "floor of the year" contest put on by the national wood flooring association. The brick paver floor was this years entry.
