The battery is fine. One thing that I hadn't considered until now is that the starter may be getting weak. Those are a tad pricey.

What kind of oil are you using in the engine?
Synthetic oil will allow the engine to crank faster in cold weather, that might be the answer.

Since the engine has less than 100 hours on it, I am still using JD Break In Plus which is 10W-30.

Engine with this few hours (55 hrs) will still be very tight which doesn't help in cold weather starting. In similar situations, I've used a battery jump pack to aid in starting just to get past the very cold weather. Next cold spell like this (possibly next winter?) the engine should be broken in and you just may not have any more problem with hard starting.

Also, if you are using JD Lo-Vis Hy-Gard oil I would not use a oil heating element. Just my $0.02.
