I can see the impellers spinning. That pump should be good right?

Shaft Key ? Is it on the pump shaft and all intact? If it's not the motor won't turn it. I'm guessing no it's not. But the good thing is turning it by hand a Fluid is moving. That's a good indication the pumps good.

??? Does the Hex Head go into a Female socket in the Motor to turn it Really???

Could it just be not having that loop in place?

I just ordered a 24" 1/2" hose and that thread past. I will wait till later to see if there is any more input on what to check before I put the pump back in

Wow! Got Ya! So that is the Female Hex. in the motor in the pic. above. Then you should be good. As in turning the pump. Back to making sure Fluid is getting to the pump. and nothings coming out Bad Pump!! IMO...

Should I try to crank the motor to see if that female hex on engine turns?

That would be wise. No turn! No turn the Pump! Try turning it first. Easily!!!

It spins! Thank god. My guess not building pressure to move the fluid?

Is it spinning by the motor running. Bad pump. just make Darn sure the Hyd Intake line to the pump is FULL of fluid.

I just cranked the motor a little the engine part is fine. the pump spins by hand. Which part is the intake line? I guess my plan is now. Put that loop in check the fluid. That's it for now lol. Not a big plan. Just leave that hose off the pump and keep filling with fluid until it comes out?

When you removed the plow, there was no place for the oil to flow.

You won't know if the pump is good or bad until you put it all back together with the loop hose on.

Have you ordered an operators manual for the tractor?

Anything special I should do after I put the loop on? Or just start her up and try

Make sure the reservoir is full, then try it.
