Hydraulics quit

John deere 300 tlb diesel, noisy coming from the front , where my pump is for the power steering and loader, quit working.. Checked coupler seems ok, and removed the horizonal filter and checked, how to check the pump and oil level coming from the transmission, thanks, Norm

Oil level check is dipstick in parts photo. Check oil with engine running. Install a 5000 psi gauge in tee in line on RH side of tractor that power steering supply line attaches to. Pressure should be around 2250. Are you positive that hyd pump shaft turns with engine crankshaft?????????????

I think is my coupler now spline must be out, where is the transmission screen ive read about on this tractor, do u know, thanks, Norm

Sorry nwentz but screen is accessed on right hand side of tractor while viewing tractor from behind it.
