Oil & Fuel hydraulics MF165

Hi i have removed and cleaned the hydraulic filter on a 165 to do this i removed the right hand plate (when standing from rear of tractor looking to front of tractor) and the top cover which was fine, removed filter and cleaned up all OK, when putting back together before top cover goes on and looking in from the top from the rear of tractor there is a lever sticking up with small roller that slots in either end to it, this came of when removing top cover and found in bottom of casting, i left this off and fitted top cover this just left the small roller type thing to be fitted on lever inside casing and side plate to be fitted, the problem is where should this lever sit, pics would be good, at the moment it is sitting on a adjuster screw which does not look wright and i could not seem to get side plate back on but run out of time so left it, this might go on not sure yet also where does that lever sit or move as it's only a small amount of adjustment on it as just slightly cranked, hope somone can help thanks and hope this makes sense
