Hydraulic system screen on 180D

I'm getting ready to change the hyd filter (screw-on type) and was wondering where the infamous screen is on the 180D. My hydraulics moan and groan terribly in the winter until everything is hot, and I was wondering if cleaning this screen would help. Speed and power are both there (even when the fluid is cold), it's just noisy. Normal or dirty screen??

Anyone know where the screen is?? Do I need to completely drain the trans?? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

It's normally located wherever the return line exits the rear end/trans. It will drain itself if you don't drain it.
