hydraulic oil ???????

hello all,i have a ? involving the hydraulic fluid in my tractor.i have a new jd 5203 and can't seem to find out how to check the power steering fluid.is the power steering fluid and hydraulic fluid the same thing?i guess what i am asking is if you have plenty hydraulic fluid on the dipstick then you are ok with your power steering too?i searched the owner's manual and couldn't find anything on the power steering system.

The power steering fluid for most tractors, use the same oil as the transmission. When you check the trans oil you are also checking the power steering oil level.

Can't speak for the 5203, but on my 4600 it is the same fluid for both.
