Hydraulic oil for Farmall Super C

I just bought a Super C Farmall. The manual says, "Refill the reservoir with the IH "Touch Control" fluid." Since I don't have an IH dealer close by, is there an equivalent hydraulic fluid that I can use in place of it?

I would say the JD 303 would be good. Were did the work at? I also lived in Rockford and Rockton.

Any ISO 32 hydraulic oil will work just fine.

30 weight non detergent motor oil would be the closest to touch control fluid. You can use anything that s Hy Tran compatible also.

+1 on 303 and wallyworld sells it in the 5 gallon bucket for a song and it's marked 303 as the label.

I only lived 3 blocks from the Loves Park plant{Hollis ave.} and I also worked there in the paint booth for a short time, maybe 1 1/2 years and that would of been about the time you started there. I lived on hollis in all of the 70's and early 80's. Small world!!!!!!!!
