What the lower lift arm attaches, I have a pretty good leak. Is this a easy seal fix or something more?

There is a serial number break at 025300 for the lift cylinders.. are you above or below?

Can get all the part numbers off of jdparts online.

L/D control shaft seals are leaking. If this is the case the seals are easy to replace. One needs to heat the larger seal in warm water or oil. Put L/D lever under seat in D before removing shaft also drain hyd oil. Be sure to install shims to remove any side to side motion from shaft. Side to side motion of shaft prematurely wears out the seals.

I will check that out. I don't recall a lever under the seat but I'll double check when I get a chance.

If draining, may as well clean the sump screen.
I have done the seal replacement without draining, just slide the shaft in enough to access the seals. You will lose some oil, have drain pan under the seal.
