Hydraulic Hose Collar Issue

Hello. I am attaching my loader to my 2305. I am having issues with the Yellow & Grey collars. I put the hose in, but the collar will not retract and the hose cant stay in place? The other hoses did not have an issue. Any advice? Seems like a no brainer!?!?

Likely you have the "pressure in the hose" problem, and need to wrap the male end with a rag and press the tip against something hard (carefully as oil will squirt out under some pressure). After the pressure is relieved, then I expect you will be able to make the connection. Just be sure the collar does slide back as rarely do they get sticky and balk.

Beenthere, AWESOME. You nailed it. My son and I were out there 60/90 minutes earlier. With your advice we nailed in in 5 minutes and we were off moving snow banks! Thank You very much, great forum.
