Hydraulic fluid Bobcat M700

I have acquired a Bobcat M700 (hydrostatic, 1970's vintage). A partially readable tag on the unit appears to state that the hydraulic system runs on Dexron, but it is presently filled with regular hydraulic/trans fluid.

Anybody know what is the right fluid for this unit?

Hi ya
I had a look at some oil links and could not find M700 but i did find all the bobcats run the same oil's ,none of them run dexron (ATF) the 2 oils i found are in NZ so ya will have to cross match them to USA oils
SHELL Rimula D 15W 40
BP Vanellus C6 Global
you could also look up oil com's in USA and see if they have a "lube ref" link on there web pages

I have a Bobcat 500 which is pre1970 and the dealer told me to purchase Dexron or something that replaces Dexron.
