Hydraulic Cylinder Disassembly Question

CGK, looking at the photo in post 7 the wiper is what is between the shaft and the bore, is that right? Is it removable intact or do I then need a new wiper? Thanks for suggestion.

On that cylinder the wiper will need to be replaced after you remove it. It is the piece that is between the rod and the bore.

Any good hydraulic repair shop should have one. Just need rod and bored size

I too have not taken a cylinder apart. It is the PARKER model that I have ( https://www.nriparts.com/hydraulic/...es-2h-6-in-2-12-in-3000psi-hydraulic-cylinder ) And Creamer, that information was useful for me too. Thanks.
