We use the Shell Donax TD for all of our service work. It is 10W30 Trans/Diff Fluid.

Maybe he does'nt have the manual. My farther bought a CK20hst to use as his all terain wheel chair/carry all, now it is time for it's 1st service and for the life of me I can't find his manual !

I've been able to get the Shell Donax TD. It works well at 0'F to Summer temps. Here are a few others Suggested from Kioti. You want to stay with a 10W-30 multi-weight for best performance. Shell Donax TD, Texaco TDH oil, Exxon Hydraul 560, Exxon Torque Fluid 56, Pennzoil Hydra Tranz, Mobilefluid 424, BP TracTran UTH, Citgo Mystik JT-5 Universal. I don't know the weight of all trac or high guard. As mentioned, it has to be trans/diff/wet brake/common sump rated.

Hi y'all. First time in this section. Normally at the Cub Cadet forum..I borrowed my SIL's 2004 Kioti CK20 standard transmission. She can't find the OM so I have been hunting down info. Almost no info on the net..

I did find a sight glass on the lower right side about mid point. Think that is for the xmission fluid..Looks a tad low. Does anyone know what they put in there originally and can I top off with another brand??

It has 86 hrs on it so not ready for a change yet.

The gear trans and hydro use the same type fluid. So all of the above would apply. I don't know what brand of oil it came with originally but as long as you stick with one of the above mentioned or another hydraulic 10W-30 oil, you'll be fine.

I just changed my hyd/trans oil and used mobile hydraul extra. I talked to Exxon Tech support and i can remember what viscosity it falls under but it was very broad. He said it would work great in my southwestern Ontario Canada climate.

Can I use Shell rotella HD universal tractor fluid for transmission hydrualic & wet brake. I have not been able to find the other brands listed, but i do have Mobil 424 but a Kioti dealer told me not to use that in my CK 20 hst tranny.

I use Shell Donax TDL in both my DK45SEC HST and my CK30 gear. The TDL is better than the TD for the cold winters we have around here.
