Hydaulic question

I'm using my brother's Kioti 3054 while he is away in the middle east. The owner's manual is very lacking. Can anyone tell me what the oil filler behind the seat , above the PTO is for and how do you check the oil level?

The filler in the back fills does everything from the engine back trans and hyd. holds 25 quarts.
Check level on the sight glass on the side of the transmission by your right foot if sitting on it.

Theres a sight glass by your left foot on the side of the gear box.

Isn't the sight glass on the left side of the transmission for the filler cap just above it on top of the transmission?
I'm questioning the filler cap on the back of the tractor below the seat. Does that filler hole service the same area as the one on top of the trans?

my 2002 3054 has the sight glass by your left foot as indicated and a red fill plug on top of transmission just behind the gear shifter. it also has a red plug behind the seat just above the top link this plug has a short J shaped hose on it that acts as a vent. the book says that the one on top of the transmission is the filler cap for transmission and hydraulics. depending on your model year it may be different, but you still can probably fill it from the back one. as long as you have oil in the sight level glass you are fine for level. also when checking oil level park on level ground lower all attachments to get accurat reading in sight glass.
