I'm looking at a used set of rims and tires for the 93 Ford 3930. My hub centres are 5.5" and the ones I'm looking at are 6". The bolt spacing is the same. Will these work with the larger hub spacing?

Thanks

Dave

It depends if your wheels are hub pilot type or not. With hub pilot type the wheel is centered and supported by the center hub, the nuts / bolts usually have a flat head against the wheel and just hold the wheel on.

If your nuts / bolts have tapered head (like automotive style wheels) the tapered nut / bolt center the wheel and hold it on.

If your current wheels are the latter the ones with the 6" center will work if the bolt pattern is the same.

Ok. Makes sense. Thanks. I'll check the bolts on my current set up.
