I agree with TN8 on the HST Neutral Adjustment....here's what my shop manual says for the NX series tractors. HST Neutral adjust Procedure.JPG

Hope this helps.

What year is your tractor? You might have already said so if you did I apologize. Mine is a 2018

Mine is a 2008. It is disappointing to see them still having this issue on a 2018!

You mean the adjustment of the linkage? Yes, it did not help. As I explained I tried it with all the linkage disconnected to isolate if it is a linkage issue or hydraulic issue. Still tough to tell but the easiest quickest test would be to throw in a stiffer spring. My plan to stack washers behind the spring is effort to mimic that.

I would not think disconnecting the linkage would result in no motion creep. Adjusting the linkage with wheels lifted is performed to find the neutral (no creep) zone.

Thank you. I will try this. It creeps much worst when I first start the tractor. I take that is because the fluid is cold and thicker right?

Not sure to be honest. I've not had to do this procedure on my tractor...if it were me, I would do this neutral zone procedure after the tractor's up to operating temp. Good luck, hope you can update us.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread but I just had this exact problem and repaired it today. I picked up a used 2016 ck2510 with low hours (370) and you could never get the machine to sit in one spot short of tapping the fwd and rev pedals constantly. I found the set bolt on the hst arm to be slightly loose. After backing off the lower nut and tightening the set bolt tighter, the machine snaps back to neutral and stays there with zero creep. Hope this helps someone else as it's a difficult problem to live with.

Good job! Thanks for sharing this information (right way to resurrect an old thread).

Thanks! I printed and will keep in my file of future fixes should the problem arise.
