HST Operation Question

I go to neutral and set the brake on my NH HST and CVT. If I don't the engine dies. NH HST and CVT transmissions do not have clutches.

I have a JD4300HST. No clutch and when your foot is off the pedal and engine running it doesn't want to move. When the engine is off it is just like leaving a gear tractor in gear.

I have used New Holland's and Massey's that have clutch, brake, gearshift, driver's seat interlocks. They drive me nuts. If they were on my unit they would soon quit working...
