Got to play with this today! I thought it was Kubota powered like the Sherp brand, but it has a Cat (which may likely still be a Kubota painted yellow like their mini-ex's and CTL's.

Just saw that since Argo bought Sherp they no longer use Kubota power. So guess I'd want a Fat truck, LOL

I thought the Cat mini-ex's were Mitsubishi.

these are sick ... a guy in our town has one and he manage to still get it stuck in the swamp iI though it was impossible but if there isn't enough water to float they can get stuck ... was this one hydro or chain driven ?

Mine is too. Someone is either misinformed or doesn't know.
Maybe not all models or years, but many are Kubota engines painted yellow. I was surprised by this considering Cat own Perkins.
The medium size excavators are all Mitsubishi's. Even my 330GC came from Japan.

$199,000!! Hahahaha.....they can keep that.
