Yes they sure are, LOLCool concept, way over priced.
I thought the Cat mini-ex's were Mitsubishi..... has a Cat (which may likely still be a Kubota painted yellow like their mini-ex's and CTL's.
these are sick ... a guy in our town has one and he manage to still get it stuck in the swamp iI though it was impossible but if there isn't enough water to float they can get stuck ... was this one hydro or chain driven ?Got to play with this today! I thought it was Kubota powered like the Sherp brand, but it has a Cat (which may likely still be a Kubota painted yellow like their mini-ex's and CTL's.
I know mine is...I thought the Cat mini-ex's were Mitsubishi.
Mine is too. Someone is either misinformed or doesn't know.I know mine is...
Maybe not all models or years, but many are Kubota engines painted yellow. I was surprised by this considering Cat own Perkins.Mine is too. Someone is either misinformed or doesn't know.
From the article I had read a while back:I thought the Cat mini-ex's were Mitsubishi.
That was another thing I heard. Last winter, another contractor working at our mine had a Sherp and the guys said they froze to death in it. None of them thought it was a pleasurable ride in the winter.
Ok, I get it now. You meant engines only. Your original post led me to believe the entire machine. Actually, I'm kinda surprised that EMD and most MTU engines aren't painted yellow. From the article I had read a while back:
An interesting element of this year's launch of new products from Caterpillar's Building Construction Products (BCP) division is the use of Cat-branded, Kubota-built engines in the new D-Series skid steer loaders and compact track loaders and E-Series excavators.
Ya, sorry, I meant just engine. I knew the machine itself wasn't Kubota.Ok, I get it now. You meant engines only. Your original post led me to believe the entire machine. Actually, I'm kinda surprised that EMD and most MTU engines aren't painted yellow.
