Does anybody have step by step directions on how to remove the starter in a gt275?
I need to replace it so I figured I'd get to work on it - I undid the 2 nuts that hold the solenoid on, as well as the 2 bolts that held (or atleast that I thought held) the starter unit1....but when I undid them and lowered the starter unit I was unable to pull it out because of the oil drain tube. However, I don't believe this is the right approach because when I went to put it back the cap fell off and a bunch of springs fell out. oh well, good thing I needed to replace it, lol.
So, um, yea, directions (and torque specs) would be appreciated
