I want to remove the two light gray plastic dashboard sections on my 2009 Series D. I don't see any clips or fasteners above or below. Maybe it's a snap fit. Can someone point me in the correct direction?

Thanks, DEWFPO

Did you get them off?

No I didn't. I got under there to take another look and it looks like the plastic dash pieces (at least the driver's side) is bolted to metal brackets that bolt to the frame. I only saw one bracket underneath to the left of the steering column, but I'm sure there are more that I just couldn't see. There's got to be an easy way to get it off. It looks **** near impossible and I know that can't be the case.

I checked the service manual for my Series F, no mention of the dash. It does show how to remove the black center display panel. There is a tab on each side that you push in while pushing up on the panel.

Why do you need to remove it?

2 reasons. I want to add a new switch to the dash for a back-up camera/monitor and wire it into the reverse circuit. Also, I want to add a voltmeter to the dash.
