How to lift safe to upright & install same?

Your other post would lead us to believe so. Lifting from something screwed into wood is certainly not smart. All eye bolts are not created equal. That is like saying I saw a professional rigger using a chain so, it should be safe to use this chain that the links aren't even welded for over head lifting.

During my last move I figured out my BX will fit through French doors and maneuver around the house pretty well.

*make sure you do this while your wife is gone and clean or destroy all evidence that you where driving the tractor around in the house.

I really don't think that you are right about this. An eye bolt most certainly can be used for overhead lifting (seen it done many times by professional riggers in a manufacturing environment). An improperly anchored eye bolt is dangerous, and if you are walking under any suspended load....well that's just stupidity whether you are packing or not.

My wife, then my girlfriend and I went to her bestest friend's house for a Xmas party. They owned at the time the last remaining full blown stable and riding school on Staten Island. Must have been Clove lakes. Those gals knew how to party. One had a grey horse named melody ,I think. Could be the horse you're talking about.
