I live on just under and acre and a half..
there are 4 neighbors within 500 yards...
2 you don't want, one part timer, and one of the best neighbors you could ever have!

But I maintain a 1/2 mile driveway combination of asphault (1/4 mile) and gravel (1/4 mile)...

I would really like to buy the 3 acres behind me, and 10 acres that border my driveway on different sides... But don't know how to afford it yet..

wait for it, wait for it... maybe I can win the lottery!!!!

You sure are right about that Egon. I have to drive an hour and a half to Cleveland to get any decent Rye bread or other ethnic treats. These days you can get a lot of stuff sent via the internet, but you miss the atmosphere and aroma of the specialty shops :drool:

Sorry!! I can't pass up a joke I heard about rye bread.

These 2 old guys were talking and one said he was having trouble taking care of his manly duties

His buddy told him he needed to try rye bread as a cure. He then proceeded to tell him "I thought everone knew about rye bread".

The old guy with the issues proceeded to try to find out about the power of rye bread. Taliked with a lot of people and all just told him " I thought everyone knew about rye bread"

Finally deciding to give the rye bread a try, he went to the supermarket and got a whole shopping cart of rye bread. As he was checking out the cute cashier asked "Are you sure you want all that rye bread"? He answered yes I want all of it. The cashier said It's going to be getting hard before you get it all eaten. The old gentleman replied : "It's true everybody does know about rye bread"

60 acres for me. I know that's by far not the most ... But, how much do you have? Post yours & we'll figure out who's got the most.

I envy those that have enough land that you can actually go into it & not see, hear or even know civilization is out there somewhere

I can get far enough in on my 60 that I can't see cars, but I can still hear them. And, I can see a few neighboring houses.

For some the question may be, "How much is enough?"

For me the answer has always been, "Just a little more".

What do I win for having the smallest property? We currently live on .15 acres (yes, 1/6 of an acre). We do have 7 acres in rural SC that I will be building on next year. Ironically, we own the 7 acres outright, but the bank owns the postage stamp we live on currently.
