You sure are right about that Egon. I have to drive an hour and a half to Cleveland to get any decent Rye bread or other ethnic treats. These days you can get a lot of stuff sent via the internet, but you miss the atmosphere and aroma of the specialty shops :drool:

I remember once from a hotel on Manhattan I could see a line of night working people - like cops, cleaners, guards and such - waiting in line for food from a street vendor. It was like 1AM or so; it took me only a minute to put pants back on and go downstairs to give it a try.

Now, I am not sure what nationality the food was, but it was excellent. Something like a chicken wrap with rice hot and ready to eat.

I currently only own the 3 acres I live on. Our family farm consists of about 2,000 acres spread out across the county we live in. We raise corn and soybeans...and some good tasting whitetail deer...:licking:

I'm living on 16 acres but I would like to get another 8 acre lot that is next to me someday. I am lucky because my property fronts on the Mississippi River and behind me there are no houses between me and the Gulf of Mexico about 100 miles away. There is a neighbor with 8 acres on one side and then a 200 acre pasture and woods. The other side has the 8 acres I want to buy and then a few neighbors with 8 to 10 acres.

I have 160 acres in the Ozark National Forest on the side of a mountain bordered by a creek and surrounded by National Forest property. Years ago I had dreamed of building a retirement chalet on a nice overlook where I could see for miles but since this is not a good area for my horses I guess I will just wind up selling this property some day.

It is such a great spot for someone who wants to be left alone because there are only a few houses within miles and less each year as people sell their property to the Forest Service.

But I think that my friend who lives in the city has the most land because when I asked him how much land he had, he said " I got all the land I want". Wish I could say that.

Yes that is 640acres per section. The ranch i live next to is owned by the wind river indian reservation and it is 500000 plus.
