How Many HST Drains???

I got the manual for my 1996 755 2WD and there are two contradictions. It says to remove the two drain plugs underneath and then the "pipe plug" on the screen. I can only find one obvious plug on the right side (looking from back). Am I missing something? Can't I simply remove the pipe plug, then screen and filter? Also, the manual states both 3.75 and 4.75 gallons in two different areas...which is correct? I just came from Agri-Supply trying to find the flat receiver bar for the factory hitch. They looked at me like they had never heard of such a thing. I have a hitch bar on the three point, but that one tends to lift the front.

The drawbar is part no. M90329. Can get at your dealer. Calling it a receiver bar may throw them off, as it is just the drawbar.

The difference in qty may be due to gear vs. HST, but put in what brings it up to full on the dip stick.

jdparts shows two plugs with o-rings just behind (and below) the oil filter. See if extra oil comes out of each, as they may be draining two different reservoirs.

There is also a screen (referred to in parts as a strainer) in the suction tube that would be good to clean when changing fluids.

Thanks a bunch. I was calling it a drawbar, but they kept trying to give me one for the 3 point. I never thought it would be a dealer only item. I did finally locate the drains. Thanks again!
