From what I see, the majority of tractor owners here and everywhere else have only one tractor.

I mean more than one that runs, you maintain, and use regularly... (Don't count the old broke down one behind the barn with 2 flats. )

Surprisingly, after replacing my 2 previous tractors with newer, more improved ones, I find I have have about the same hours on both new ones.

I'd hate to have to choose between them, if I had to pick only one. I really have a use for both.

How many of you are multiple machine owners? Could you get by with just one? Which one would you pick if you had to?
I have a L6060 HST Kubota and a 40 yr old 40HP diesel 4WD Cub Cadet SS 7360, I use both and both run like new. Grapple on the Kubota and bucket, bush hog on the other.

I have a JD x595 (23 HP diesel 4x4) and a Ford 555D (~72 HP diesel 4x4/backhoe). They both have their individual uses and I would rather not be without either of them.

An X with a 45 loader, now that's a useful little machine.

That's really impressive!

The factory relief pressure on these machines is only set to 900-1000 psi, which is why they're anemic as they come. Doesn't take much to wake them up a little. The K92 hydro in these is rated for 1500. That's a 25 HP gasser with a 54" deck hanging in the air. Just gotta be sure to have enough ballast, as the machine itself isn't very heavy. I mostly use the 555D (12,000 pound breakout, 6,000 to full height) for heavy lifting now, but the small machine is definitely handy for getting into spaces that it can't.
