Wow, you aren't kidding. 100% makeup air and hospitals don't go tegether in my opinion. I worked at a location in Tucson with the same problem.
Replaced it with a Modular Chil-Pak unit. Transition went very smoothly.
Edit: added multiple return air ducts to the system.

It was the local farmers and their big tractors that quelled the fire. All the dedicated ground equipment was over in the Wenatchee Valley fighting fires there.

I'm surprised that was allowed (to have non-firefighters fight a fire).

Used to be that's how it was here in northern Nevada - ranchers and farmers would jump on a fire on public land ASAP and knock it down quick. Some years ago rules changed...the BLM no longer allows "untrained and uncertified" firefighters on public land to fight wildfires. Anyone not certified by the BLM to fight fires (meaning that not only must the person be a certified firefighter, the equipment being used must be inspected and certified by the BLM also) will be arrested.
