How Hot is @ Hot???

I've got a YM2200. the problem I'm having is that when I'm bush hogging after 15-20 min the temp is creeping up to 115 on the guage. I've flushed the raidator tightened the belt replaced the cap all with no luck on sloving the problem. I've have tried using a lower gear and mowing slower and it still over heats. do you think the problem could be in the water pump. should i try to rebuild?

IMHO, On a cold start, with the radiator cap off, can you see your coolant flowing freely? If not, have you tried to loosen belt completely and check pump for end play (rock fan blade back and forth)? Having done all the obvious radiator checks, I would think it is your water pump. Are you sure it is getting hot? Your guage reads 115 degrees?

the temp 115 is celsuis i think thats about 250 dgs f.

have you blown an air hose through the front of your radiator
You would be amazed what comes out on the engine.
I had the same problem you had until I blew the fins off with air. It was like magic (cured the problem)

Do you have a screen on the front of your radiator, if not, I would get one and and keep it brushed off. Also blowing through the radiator from inside out works much better, sending the debris back the way it came in.
